Why Egyptian Lodge No.27?
Founded in 1811, Egyptian Lodge No.27 has met under the United Grand Lodge of England for over two centuries — through changing times, at the same historic Hall on Great Queen Street that remains the spiritual home of English Freemasonry. Its members inherit more than a name: a genuinely distinctive identity, unlike any other lodge in London. To join is to take up a thread of brotherhood stretching back to before Victoria's reign — and to be trusted to carry it forward.
